This Privacy Policy explains what information Reader Mode (the "extension") and this website collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. We built the extension to work without collecting your browsing activity, and this policy describes exactly what that means in practice.

1. What the extension does not do

It does not read, log, or transmit the content of the pages you browse to any server.
It does not use analytics or advertising trackers inside the extension itself.
It does not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. What the extension stores, and where

Your display preferences — selected theme, font size, line spacing, and reading width — are saved using your browser's built-in sync storage API (chrome.storage.sync). This data is stored locally and, if you're signed into your browser profile, synced across your own devices by Google, tied to your Google account. It never passes through our servers, because we don't have any servers in that path — the extension talks directly to the browser's storage API.

3. Information collected through this website

If you make the lifetime purchase, our payment processor ([Payment Processor Name]) collects the billing information needed to process your payment, such as your email address and payment method. We receive limited information back from the processor — typically your email and purchase status — which we use to provide support. We do not receive or store your full card number.

If you contact us for support, we retain the content of that conversation (e.g., your email and message) to respond to you and improve the Service.

4. Cookies and website analytics

This website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g., page views) and, if enabled, a payment processor's checkout cookies.
